Redemption Trail is the story of two troubled women - Ana (Rabe) a successful doctor and Tess (Hamilton) a convicted felon - fighting to come to terms with their pasts. The two meet after Ana attempts suicide near a Sonoma vineyard where Tess lives detached from all connections. As Ana's husband David (Linklater) and Tess' employer (Weber) try to break through their walls, Ana and Tess form a bond, helping each other see a new vision of themselves. As they battle their demons and reclaim their freedom, the women learn to see themselves not only as survivors but also as heroes.

The film had its world premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival in October 2013. Redemption Trail was filmed on location at Stubbs Vineyard, Marin County, Petaluma and Oakland, California.
