Official Stills for the Upcoming Thriller "Term Life"

Focus World recently released stills for their upcoming release of "Term Life". The film stars Vince Vaughn, Hailee Steinfeld, Bill Paxton, Jonathan Banks, Terrance Howard and former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velazquez.

"Term Life" hits theaters on April 29th.

Plot Synopsis:

Nick Barrow (VINCE VAUGHN) plans and sells heists to the highest bidder. But when his latest job goes horribly wrong and the son of a major drug cartel leader (WILLIAM LEVY) is assassinated, he finds himself being hunted by the head of the cartel, Viktor Vasquez (JORDI MOLLA).

To clear his name, Nick must expose the dirty cops who committed the crime (BILL PAXTON, MIKE EPPS, SHEA WHIGHAM). With both the Cartel and the cops tracking Nick, he does the only thing he can think of to help his estranged daughter, Cate (HAILEE STEINFELD): he takes out a million dollar life insurance policy on himself with her as the beneficiary. But the policy will not take effect for twenty-one days and now his enemies also have their sights on Cate.

With the help from his well-connected criminal friend (JONATHAN BANKS), Nick is forced to take Cate on the run to keep them both alive while trying to be a father for the very first time. Reconnecting with his daughter just might kill him!

Drafthouse Films recently send us over the official trailer for their upcoming film "The Keeping Room". The film stars Brit Marling, Hailee Steinfeld, Muna Otaru, Sam Worthington.

"The Keeping Room" hits theaters in limited release on September 25th with nationwide rollout during the month of October.

Plot Synopsis:

In this radically reimagined American Western set towards the end of the Civil War, Southerner Augusta (Brit Marling, Arbitrage, The East) encounters two renegade, drunken soldiers (Sam Worthington, Avatar) who are on a mission of pillage and violence. Official Stills for the Upcoming Teen Drama "Ten Thousand Saints"

Archer Grey Productions and Maven Pictures released released stills for their film "Ten Thousand Saints, which made its world premiere at this year's Sundance Film Festival. The film is latest from "American Splendor'" directors Robert Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman. "Ten Thousans Saints" stars Ethan Hawke, Asa Butterfield. Emily Mortimer, Julianne Nicholson, Hailee Steinfeld and Emile Hirsch.

"Ten Thousand Saints" will be making its final screening at the Sundance Film Festival on 1/31 at 10Pm at the Holiday Village Cinema 4 in Park City, UT.

Drafthouse Films Acquires North American Rights to "The Keeping Room"

Drafthouse Films recently released information that they've acquired the North American rights to the Toronto International Film Festival standout "The Keeping Room". The film stars Brit Marling, Hailee Steinfeld and Sam Worthington.

Drafthouse Films has acquired North American distribution rights to Julia Hart's powerful Black List Western feature, The Keeping Room, after its acclaimed world premiere at Toronto International Film Festival.

Expertly directed by Daniel Barber (Harry Brown), The Keeping Room focuses on the violent resilience and dramatic camaraderie of three Southern women as their home is besieged during the purges at the close of the American Civil War. Forced to defend their land and fight for their lives, the women take up arms against their male oppressors, shattering gender and genre conventions in the process.

A forceful turn from Brit Marling (Arbitrage, I Origins) heads a formidable trio of female leads that includes Hailee Steinfeld (True Grit, Ender's Game) and newcomer Muna Otaru in a powerful break out role. Playing against his usual character, Sam Worthington (Avatar, Man On A Ledge), excels as a villainous renegade soldier intent on killing the women and razing their home.

Based on Julia Hart's revered 2012 Black List screenplay, The Keeping Room deliberately eschews Hollywood Western tropes and challenges gender politics as the female protagonist is defined in brave and provocative fashion. 'BEGIN AGAIN': Four Stars (Out of Five)

Musical romantic comedy flick written and directed by John Carney; who also wrote and directed the critically acclaimed 2007 Irish musical 'ONCE'. Mark Ruffalo and Keira Knightley star in the movie (Knightley also did all of her own singing) as an alcoholic music executive and a singer/songwriter who collaborate on a music album; they record all live over the summer (in New York City). It costars Hailee Steinfeld, Catherine Keener, James Corden, CeeLo Green, Mos Def and Adam Levine (in his film debut). I found the movie to be really entertaining and emotionally uplifting as well.

Ruffalo plays Dan Mulligan, a recently unemployed music label executive who lives in New York City. Dan is separated from his wife, Miriam (Keener), and hasn't signed a successful music artist in seven years. He also has a teenage daughter, named Violet (Steinfelf), and is an alcoholic, due to his depression. Knightley plays Gretta, a singer/songwriter who recently broke up with her longtime boyfriend, Dave (Levine). The two moved to New York because Dave was signed to a record label. He quickly let the success go to his head though and had an affair with a music label associate. Dan discovers Gretta playing one of her songs at a bar, in East Village, and immediately thinks she's the person who will help him get out of the rut he's in. The two soon decide to produce an album together.

I like 'ONCE', a lot, because I really like the music and think the movie was filmed beautifully. I like this film for the same reasons; the music is great and the film looks amazing. It's also just a cool feel-good movie. I really enjoyed it, a lot, while I was watching it. Like 'ONCE', it's not a film I'll take a lot away from but it's still a really fun time at the movies. It's also one I look forward to seeing again, like a good song that you can't wait to hear again! To me that's a good movie.

30 Second Super Bowl Spot for "3 Days to Kill"
